Every child has the right to cycle to school safely; every adult has the right to cycle to their local shops safely; and every family has the right to enjoy cycling in their local area at weekends.
That’s why, in 2026, we’ll be campaigning for Streets For Cycling – every London borough needs a safe, connected cycle network, so cycling is safe everywhere, and fun for everyone.
Next year’s local elections present a major opportunity. In boroughs where we can secure commitments from incoming council leaders, rapid progress on cycling will be possible.
Our job is to get as many councils and council leaders onboard as possible. But it’s a huge job, and to do it we need your support.
